Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Production Specialist in Ohio to manage resin batching operations for photochemistry applications. You will ensure live inventory, move materials, and support production with process-parameter insights to minimize downtime.

The role requires an associates or high school degree with production experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills. Expect a 2pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday schedule with comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a reliable live inventory of raw materials, WIP, or completed batches in the areas under his/her responsibility.
  • Move chemicals from inventory to mixing tanks and empty drums into tanks.
  • Provide first hand support to Production on issues associated with the resins based on the actual process parameters that may result in downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for creating, reviewing, submitting and completing the resin recipes required to accomplish the production schedules.
  • Submit and complete all the sampling associated with the batching process so batches are fully approved before use.
  • Ensure the effective utilization of raw materials in the batching area so minimal waste or obsolescence is avoided while accomplishing duties.
  • Follow and maintain all the documentation associated with activities as defined in the Quality Management System.
  • Address any potential equipment or batching process issues that may affect or delay the batching schedule.
