Job summary

IFCO SYSTEMS US, LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Shift Supervisor in McDonough, GA. You will lead a high‑volume production team, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive operational efficiency during the 2:00 pm–11:30 pm shift with occasional Saturday overtime.

Responsibilities include supervising personnel, enforcing PPE and safety policies, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with senior management to meet facility goals. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a production supervisor.
• Experience in a high-volume industrial environment.
• Flexibility with shifts, including weekend duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise overall shift operations with focus on safety, quality and productivity.

• Maintain accurate shift documentation and reporting (shift summaries, quality records).
• Train and manage shift personnel; address issues to minimize disruption.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

2nd Shift Supervisor - Monday Through Friday 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm and some Saturdays for mandatory overtime when production requires.

Job Description:

SUMMARY:

As a key member of the operations team, main accountability will be the overall supervision of the

all shift operations with concentration on personnel safety, product quality, and operational

effectiveness of the facility. Follows and enforces all facility safety policies ensuring the highest

operational safety standards. Utilizing current and future quality control processes to ensure

product meets or exceeds IFCO Systems’ product quality standards. Meet or exceed production

goals as designated by senior management for the facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for documentation processes including shift summary sheets, product wash sheets, recollection wash processes, quality processes and paperwork, cleaning processes and
• Enforce safety policies and processes for all personnel within the plant.
• Ensure all PPE is being worn per IFCO Systems standards and ensuring AIB standards are upheld.
• Provide personnel training and enforcement of all operational functions within the facility
• Ensure all required expectations are being met or exceeded regarding quality, machine operation, productivity, and safety
• Follow best practices and SOP’s concerning shift/machine operation ensuring effective and productive performance in keeping with the highest standards expected by IFCO Systems for their customers.
• Support and assist in future duties/projects as assigned by management.
• Manage all shift employees according to IFCO policies
• Maintain accurate inventory

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of experience as a production supervisor
• Previous leadership and supervisory position within high volume production operation
• 2+ years of experience in an industrial environment with 25+ employees strongly preferred.
• Candidate must be flexible with shift assignment when provided advanced notice and for weekend duties when required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both management and subordinates
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to diffuse personnel issues and take appropriate actions while minimizing disruption of operations
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated successes in handling multiple priorities
• Proven planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle high volume operational requirements.
