Job summary

MSCCN in Parma, Ohio is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and coordinate the daily production plan for three-shift Metal Assembly and Press Operations, ensuring inventory alignment with customer needs while meeting safety, quality, and cost goals. This is an on-site role under the Global Manufacturing System.

You will monitor progress, communicate issues, coordinate maintenance and die work, and drive improvements across functions, stepping in for Area Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with production scheduling.
• Experience managing a production workforce.
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing conflict and decision making.
• Strong ability to lead people and address performance concerns.
• Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems.
• Ability to navigate a high-speed, high-volume production area.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
• This is a 2nd shift role – must be able to work off shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily shipping requirements and develop the production plan for a three-shift operation.
• Monitor daily progress to the production plan and adjust as needed.
• Communicate and escalation issues/concerns.
• Launch readiness and collaboration with die engineering.
• Coordinate maintenance and die work/repairs with respective groups.
• Manage die home line allocations to minimize costs.
• Manage and support needs required per Cell Launch Requirements.
• Conduct required audits and monitor compliance.
