Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking Production Technicians (Packers) to efficiently package finished goods, label boxes, and document production records. The role requires attention to quality, adherence to food safety standards, and ability to multi-task on a fast-paced line.

The position supports 2nd shift operations (3pm-11:30pm) and involves operating filling and packaging equipment, ensuring correct packaging materials, and maintaining clean, organized workstation practices in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift and aerial platform certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts.
• Able to lift 20–50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Remove packaged product from conveyor and place into casing neatly.
• Monitor packaging for quality and verify date coded on packages.
• Operate palletizing equipment and perform packaging integrity tests.
• Maintain FIFO for ingredients and materials.
• Taping boxes and transferring product to stacking area.
• Follow all safety guidelines, GMPs, and sanitation procedures.
