Job summary

Hamilton-Ryker in Nicholasville, KY is seeking an Assembly/Production Operator to join our team on 1st shift (Mon-Thurs 7:00 am–5:30 pm). You will assemble electronic components, operate drills and equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a temperature-controlled environment.

This temp-to-hire role offers weekly pay, direct deposit, and benefits including medical insurance options and a 401(k). A high school diploma and 1 year of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must comply with client's substance abuse and background policy.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of manufacturing or industrial experience required.
• Prior assembly/production experience preferred but not required.
• Stable work history in last 7–10 years.
• Requires keen eye for detail.
• High level of dexterity required for assembling.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and circuit boards according to work instructions.
• Operate drills and equipment assigned to finish products according to specifications.
• Use hand tools safely.
• Communicate with team regarding concerns, discrepancies and improvement ideas.
• Quality inspection to identify defects and ensure products meet specifications.
• Test electronic products as required.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Work in a temperature-controlled environment.
• May require sitting for the majority of the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Safely operate tools and equipment while following established procedures.
