Job summary

Teknor Apex Company is seeking a Production Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM) to contribute to the manufacture of plastic materials used in medical and consumer products. The role includes blending and machine operation on second and third shifts, with opportunities for overtime and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Verification of manufacturing numbers including item numbers, lot numbers and quantities.
• Legibly document production information on required paperwork.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Work well alone and with others.
• Monitor personal safety along with the safety of other team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending and extrusion equipment to produce plastic materials.
• Assist in monitoring quality and safety during production.
• Verify and document production numbers and lot information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow procedures.
• Collaborate with team to meet efficiency targets and schedules.
