Job summary

Vermont Cider Company is seeking a capable packaging operator to support high-speed beverage packaging across bottle, can, keg, and variety pack lines. You will uphold safety, quality, and food safety while meeting production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating and monitoring equipment, conducting quality checks, supporting line changeovers, and documenting production activities. The role offers a strong benefits package and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing, packaging, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Operate and monitor packaging and production equipment
• Perform quality checks on products, labels, packaging, fill levels, and pallet patterns
• Support line changeovers, startups, material staging, and line readiness activities
• Complete production, quality, and traceability documentation accurately
• Troubleshoot and report equipment, quality, and production issues
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams to meet production requirements

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday
• 4:00pm-2:30am

Compensation

$18-$24 per hour plus a $2 Shift Differential

• Pay is based on skills, experience, shift, equity, and business needs.

What You Will Do

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to work around moving machinery, conveyors, forklifts, and production traffic
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels
• Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety requirements
