Job summary

Beech-Nut Nutrition Company is seeking an Operations Specialist - Production Associate for its Amsterdam, NY facility. The role focuses on operating and cleaning high-speed batching, filling and packaging equipment in a食品 manufacturing environment, with emphasis on safety, quality, cost control, and service.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, and after a 60-day probation, union membership is expected with Local 53.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred
• Associates degree or beyond highly desired
• Preference for experience in manufacturing
• Introductory experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)

Responsibilities

• Complete production, quality, and operational records per company and regulatory standards.
• Support production activities to maintain efficient operations.
• Assist in achieving company objectives, goals, and KPIs.
• Coordinate with plant personnel to modify machines for improved production and quality.
• Maintain sanitation and safety compliance with PPE and GMP standards.
