Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Manager to oversee fabrication and assembly, driving safety, quality, and productivity. The role leads subordinate managers, hires and trains staff, and ensures effective operation of the unit.

Requirements include a related bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required. Strong PC skills and Axapta experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, plus ten years directly-related experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Demonstrated advanced PC usage, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Drives continuous improvement within the department regarding safety, quality, schedule attainment, cost reduction, productivity, and employee engagement.
• Reviews production orders or schedules to plan department operations and allocate resources.
• Plans production operations, establishes priorities and sequences for manufacturing processes.
• Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data to determine processes, tools, and staffing requirements.
