Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Manager to supervise Supervisors, Hourly Team Members and Leads, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. This role supports the Production Manager and maintenance to maximize uptime and keep the production schedule on track.

The successful candidate will coach staff, troubleshoot quality issues, and coordinate with maintenance to improve equipment efficiency while meeting delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
• High level of organization with strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance and perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Ensure safety guidelines and company policies are followed fairly and consistently.
• Coach and develop Supervisors, Leads and hourly team members; conduct evaluations and progressive discipline as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues; monitor production metrics and provide coaching to improve results.
• Adhere to production schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards; meet delivery times.
• Own plant efficiency across departments; coordinate with maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Assist Operations Manager with Supervisor scheduling and support Customer Service issues as they arise.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of all jobs/operations within the facility.
• Interact with customers, participate in linen start-ups, and direct truck drivers as needed.

Position Summary: The 2nd Shift Production Manager supervises and coaches Supervisors, Hourly Team Members and Leads to achieve assigned safety, quality, and productivity targets. This role ensures company policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently, drives plant efficiency across all departments, and partners closely with the Production Manager and maintenance personnel to maximize uptime, meet delivery commitments, and maintain the production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ensure all safety guidelines and company policies and procedures are followed, applying them fairly and consistently across the team.
• Manage, coach, and develop Supervisors, Leads and hourly Team Members, completing performance evaluations and administering progressive discipline as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues, monitoring production metrics and providing ongoing coaching and feedback to improve results.
• Adhere to the production schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensure delivery times are consistently met.
• Own plant efficiency across all departments, involving maintenance personnel as needed to improve uptime and equipment efficiency.
• Assist the Operations Manager with Supervisor scheduling and support Customer Service with issues as they arise.
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of all jobs/operations within the facility.
• Interact with customers, participate in linen start-ups, and direct truck drivers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
• High level of organization with strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Flexible scheduling availability.
• Valid driver's license.
