Job summary

Schwan's Company in Alabama is seeking a 2nd shift Production Associate to set up, run, and monitor packaging and processing lines. You will perform quality checks, document downtime, and support sanitation and maintenance tasks to keep production on track.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience. You must be able to operate multiple machines safely, adapt to varying hours including overtime, and work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to operate multiple machines safely.
• Willingness to work overtime/weekends as production demands.

Responsibilities

• Set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Operate and control line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates; start and stop equipment as needed.
• Perform light maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment; assist maintenance with repairs.
• Complete required documentation, including downtime logs and HACCP forms, using SAP and SOPs.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production lines and equipment for sanitation and maintenance.
