Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Manager, Production for the 2nd shift in Conyers, GA. You will lead a multi-shift operation of ~280 team members, ensuring safety and strict production schedule adherence while optimizing labor across zones.

You will drive Lean initiatives, supervise 5 Production Supervisors, and coordinate with Supply Chain and Planning to prevent bottlenecks. A bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of leadership in manufacturing are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience managing 200+ headcount with supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or TPS.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture and daily safety practices on the floor.
• Own production scheduling and ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee labor planning, headcount, and line balancing.
• Drive Kaizen events and continuous process improvements.
