Job summary

NSK is seeking a Shift Supervisor / Production Team Lead for the 2nd Shift at our Hub plant in Franklin, IN. The role coordinates team efforts toward safety, quality, and production goals and serves as the primary contact for line activity, applying lean and 5S to standardize operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED plus several years in a supervisory role, with preference for technical education and lean manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of position-related experience.
• Preferred technical diploma or associate degree with 6–8 years of experience.
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the activities of team members on the production line.
• Enforce safety and quality standards across the shift.
• Communicate shift updates on safety, quality, production, and line status.
• Coordinate with other supervisors on inter-department operations.
• Discuss with management quality concerns, production status, and line issues.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals.
• Monitor work activity to ensure adherence to plant standards.
• Utilize 5S and Lean principles to improve procedures.
