Job summary

Production Line Lead position on the 2nd shift (4:15 PM start) is responsible for daily operations across all lines in the area, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. The role requires coordinating staffing, changeovers, and packaging setup, while maintaining documentation and following the production schedule.

Ideal candidates will be bilingual (Spanish or French) with the ability to lift 25+ lbs, stand for long hours, and work in a noisy, cold environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 25+ lbs.
• Stand for the duration of the shift (10 hours or more)
• Bend continuously throughout the shift
• Able to work in a noisy, wet and cold environment of approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit
• Perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for all lines in the area.
• Ensure production lines are staffed properly and meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Coordinate changeovers with machine operators and related roles when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment and ensure correct packaging information.
• Monitor packaging lines to ensure quantities are produced without overruns.
• Communicate quality issues of raw product to appropriate personnel.
• Complete hourly documentation accurately and follow the daily production schedule.
