Job summary

Sensical Inc. in Solon, Ohio is seeking a hands-on Production Lead for the 2nd shift to guide a 20+ person production team and ensure safety, quality, and on-time output.

You will partner with the Production Supervisor, train new hires, coach attendance and performance, and help optimize workflows on a 4-day workweek schedule (Mon–Thu, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM), with occasional Friday hours and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Prior experience in a 20+ person team is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team on the production floor.
• Communicate daily assignments, priorities and expectations.
• Monitor production, quality, safety, attendance and workflow.
• Train and onboard new employees.
• Coach staff on attendance, performance, safety and quality.
• Collaborate with the Production Supervisor on staffing and production needs.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting production, quality or safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
• Lead by example with a hands-on presence on the floor.
