Job summary

Ken's Foods, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Production department on 2nd Shift. This role will accurately and efficiently supply materials to all production lines and take away packaged and finished products.

The starting rate for this position is $24.00/hour. You will follow all safety procedures, SQF, GMP, and housekeeping rules, operate the forklift safely in a production environment, and complete required paperwork with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related training.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely in a production environment.
• Familiarity with inventory and cycle counts.
• Ability to read packaging schedules and labels.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, SQF, GMP, and housekeeping rules.
• Safely operate forklift in potentially hazardous areas.
• Follow packaging schedules to deliver correct materials on time.
• Understand FIFO inventory flow.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory and cycle counts.
• Use and maintain the scanning system properly.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the forklift.
• Clean the workspace daily and remove packaging waste.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Accept other duties as assigned.
