Job summary

Valtir is seeking a Production Foreman for the 2nd shift at our Pell City, AL plant. This hands-on leadership role supervises department staff and drives production priorities to meet quality and schedule requirements.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–4:40pm. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with supervisory manufacturing experience. Paint/coatings experience is desirable, and strong safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a supervisory position in manufacturing required.
• Paint/coatings experience highly desirable.
• Substitute qualifications: 3+ years as manufacturing supervisor and 5+ years in industrial manufacturing.
• Able to read and explain technical product drawings and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department personnel and conduct periodic performance reviews.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and equipment meets safety standards; investigate accidents.
• Maintain quality levels meeting specified requirements for parts produced or shipped.
• Determine and adjust job priorities; plan manpower and issue daily work assignments.
• Participate in cost reduction, LEAN, quality improvement, and housekeeping programs.
