Job summary

Kimball Electronics is seeking a Production Specialist to support the operations team in medical device manufacturing. You will train, direct and oversee production associates, ensuring quality products are manufactured efficiently in compliance with documented procedures and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Medical manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, documentation).
• Experience with MS Office and comfortable working with different computer programs.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to adapt under pressure.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities with root cause analysis and an action plan.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to review procedures and interpret assembly drawings.
• Able to stand and perform production duties at the location; able to lift as required.
• Understanding of business, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Willing to work overtime to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operate equipment, fixtures and test stations per procedures and training.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment per company policies.
• Maintain regular attendance per attendance guidelines.
• Knowledge of ISO-13485 and FDA CFR/GMP Medical Device Regulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in oversight of work area staff to ensure quality products are manufactured efficiently.
• Verify batch record documentation according to Product Related Procedures and Good Documentation Practices.
• Be accountable for the team of associates and their results.
• Support adherence to Quality System Procedures and GxP requirements.
