Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in Gaffney, SC is seeking a 2nd shift Production Associate to visually inspect extruded products, perform routine tests, and assist with quality control and packaging on the line.

This full-time role offers day-one benefits, weekly pay, and on-demand pay. The job requires reading drawings and measurements, standing long hours in a non-climate-controlled facility, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more Production/Manufacturing experience required.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math as duties require.
• Must have reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Must be safety conscious and a team player.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
• Read draft drawings and interpret measurements with tape measures/calipers/micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect extruded products for appearance and size per specs.
• Conduct recurrent tests/inspections of product features.
• Notify supervisors of defects and assist with quality control.
• Assemble bundles for packaging and ensure correct counts.
• Square, band, heat seal and label packed bundles.
• Operate fabrication equipment: routers, CMM gang saw, tiger saw, heat tunnel, notchers, crimpers.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Complete line packaging paperwork accurately.
