Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Gaffney, SC is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm). The role involves visual inspection of extruded products, packaging, and supporting line efficiency while adhering to safety standards.

Base pay is $16.00/hour with a $1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift, and benefits start day one. Ideal candidates will have basic math ability, reading/writing skills, and capable to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more Production/Manufacturing experience required.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math as job duties require.
• Must possess common sense, positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendance.
• Must be quality and safety conscious, a team player.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to concentrate for sustained periods.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to interact with people.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect extruded product for appearance and size defects per specs.
• Operate fabrication department equipment (routers, saws, heat tunnel, notchers, crimpers).
• Pack finished products into bundles and ensure proper packing patterns and counts.
• Maintain line paperwork and communicate with shifts about quality and status.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, safe work areas.
