S&S Activewear in Gaffney, SC is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2:30pm – 10:30pm). The role supports efficient, accurate production and requires attention to detail and teamwork. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with an emphasis on safety and quality in a distribution-center setting.

You will perform adjustments, monitor output, and communicate clearly with the team to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality products. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret job orders and production instructions.
• Strong listening skills and ability to follow verbal directions.
• Clear communication with team members to relay information.
• Accurate counting and attention to detail in production tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible scheduling.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Make real-time adjustments to maintain smooth machine operation.
• Produce high-quality pieces with accurate image alignment and consistent imprint results.
• Identify defects and adjust machines to correct issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems to determine root causes and restore function.
• Perform machine breakdowns, cleaning, and changeovers at job end.
• Communicate production details and machine status to the next operator.
• Report production quantities and track orders using company systems.
