Job summary

Pyrotek, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate II for the Salisbury, NC area on the second shift. The role focuses on producing ceramic fiber shapes through vacuum forming, mixing, decanting and inspection.

You will read work orders, set up jobs, measure parts with calipers and micrometers, and maintain quality records. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required, with over 1 year of manufacturing/machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and work orders, using mechanical skills.
• Capable of using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape) with precision.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform production activities including vacuum forming, mixing, decanting, assembling and packaging.
• Read and interpret work orders and specs to fabricate vacuum formed ceramic fiber shapes.
• Setup jobs per work orders and drawings; ensure accuracy and quality.
• Take precise measurements and inspect parts; notify supervision of discrepancies.
• Record data for inspection, material usage and inventory; clock in/out via terminals.
