Job summary

Pyrotek in Salisbury, North Carolina is seeking a Manufacturing/Machine Operator to join our operations team. Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

The associate must be proficient in basic machine operations (molds, saws and routers) and able to measure product quality with standard instrumentation. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (TASC acceptable) and at least one year of manufacturing or machine operation experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year manufacturing/machine operation experience or training.
• High school level math and measurement skills required.
• Ability to read basic drawings and safety instructions.
• Strong attention to quality and maintaining tools/workstation.

Responsibilities

• Perform the requirements of the Work Order.
• Produce parts to required tolerances at an acceptable production rate.
• Maintain workstation in a clean orderly manner.
• Identify areas of improvement, cost and waste reduction.
