TAPCO (Traffic and Parking Control Co., LLC) in Brown Deer, WI is seeking a Production Assembler to join a cell-based manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, programming, and testing TAPCO products in a lean environment with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, perform basic math for measurements, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability to assemble components and follow instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic/mechanical work instructions, drawings, and schematics.
• Basic math skills for measurements, units, and tolerances.
• Strong verbal, listening, and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, program, and test TAPCO manufactured products.
• Interpret engineering drawings to select parts and assemble to order.
• Pack finished products into containers with padding for protection.
• Support lean manufacturing and 5S practices in daily work.
• Communicate with team leaders and management as needed.
• Participate in cell changeovers and maintain equipment as required.
