TAPCO (Traffic and Parking Control Co., LLC) in Brown Deer, WI is seeking a Production Assembler to join a cell-based manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, programming, and testing TAPCO products in a lean environment with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, perform basic math for measurements, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Pay is based on experience, and there is a shift differential in the base rate when working 2nd Shift!
Sign-on bonuses are paid in installments: (a) $1,000 after successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment; (b) remaining balance after successful completion of 180 days. Employment must be active and in good standing on payout dates.
2nd shift, Monday- Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
The Production Assembler position assembles, programs, and tests TAPCO manufactured products. The position operates within a cell work environment where standardized work, Lean Manufacturing, and safety are practiced. This role requires flexibility to adapt quickly to change and a desire for growth. This position plays a key role in TAPCO’s prime metrics that feed directly into the companywide gainsharing program. A Production Assembler II will have a broad knowledge of Production tasks, performing some at high level. Cross trained with the ability to switch roles when needed..
