Job summary

Green Rabbit, a part of VISTAR, is hiring a 2nd shift QA Associate for our Whitestown, Indiana facility. You will check product quality, take daily inventory of produce, and remove spoiled items, with focus on accurate re-packaging and timely reporting to Inventory Control.

Responsibilities include coordinating with customers, vendors, and colleagues to ensure questions are answered promptly and quality standards are met, while supporting overall department goals and company operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months procurement, warehouse and/or administrative experience in related area.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on designated produce and manage daily inventory.
• Remove spoiled or short-dated items and repack full cases as needed.
• Ensure quality at all produce pick locations; report dumps or salvage to Inventory Control.
• Interact with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally and promptly.
• Carry out other duties to support the department and company.
