Taylor Corporation, a leading print and production firm, is seeking an Equipment Operator II to join our production team. You will set up, operate, and maintain production equipment while ensuring quality standards, safety requirements, and production schedules are met.

The role includes operating a range of machinery such as palletizers, SMT lines, various printers, packaging and cutting equipment, and performing regular preventive maintenance to support reliable output.

Qualifications

• Must set up and operate equipment within required tolerances.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills for quality control.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and understand detailed job instructions.
• Effective communication to share information with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate printing and production equipment according to job specifications and quality standards.
• Operate equipment including palletizers, SMT, printers, packaging machines, and cutting devices.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to support reliable operation and output.
• Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency when applicable.
• Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity before production.
• Check printing plates for correct format when applicable.
• Inspect printed materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Adjust equipment settings to maintain tolerances and product specs.
• Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust workflow to meet deadlines.
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating requirements.
