Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Supervisor, Manufacturing - Print Operations for the Second Shift at our Bohemia, NY site. Lead2nd shift press teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing schedules, materials, and production priorities.

You will drive continuous improvement, coach staff, and ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards in a fast-paced printing environment. Strong leadership and Lean/Six Sigma experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree highly preferred; HS diploma or equivalent accepted.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in printing or manufacturing.
• Experience in a cGMP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily press manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals.
• Supervise and support 2nd shift press crews in a fast-paced environment.
• Set performance expectations and develop direct reports.
• Conduct daily production and shift meetings to review schedules and issues.
• Coordinate with Scheduling, Materials Handling, and Warehouse teams to secure materials.
• Monitor pressroom operations for quality and efficiency; ensure SOPs and specs.
• Support investigations using TrackWise or similar systems.
• Maintain pressrooms, equipment, inventory, and work areas audit-ready.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and safe operating conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, waste, and efficiency.
• Track and report production metrics; ensure training compliance.
