You will read job travelers and blueprints, adjust machine settings, monitor weld quality, and document production steps. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing or welding, strong mechanical aptitude,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing, welding, fabrication or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
• Experience with precision measuring tools is a plus and attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press-welding equipment.
• Read and follow job travelers, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Position and align copper materials for welding.
• Adjust machine settings to meet production requirements.
• Monitor weld quality and inspect completed parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
