AUTOKINITON is seeking a Press Department Supervisor to lead secondary shift operations, ensuring production plans are executed efficiently and safely. You will train and guide associates, monitor equipment, and uphold quality documentation across work centers.

Qualifications

• Supervises production teams and maintains productivity.
• Controls production planning and scheduling.
• Manages inventory accuracy and material flow.
• Ensures quality standards and corrective actions.
• Applies safety rules and process improvements.
• Communicates effectively with team members and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation of production plans.
• Schedules operations.
• Monitors, adjusts, and reports inventories.
• Develops and educates associates in proper procedures of company policy, safety and quality issues, and production requirements.
• Monitors machinery and equipment.
• Resolves problems logically and effectively.
• Communicates necessary information to associates.
• Eliminates waste through safety, quality and production improvements.
• Implements new systems and operations.
• Continues focus and improvements in housekeeping through 5’s.
• Monitors quality documentation and inspections.
• Ensures IPP tags on product where applicable.
• Ensures associates sign in/out per procedures.
• Participates in corrective action activities as needed.
• Maintains work center schedules within production/shipping timings.
• Oversees setup on work centers for quality and documentation.
• Conducts one-on-one meetings on issues like quality, attendance, safety, housekeeping, and production requirements.
