Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Press Break Operator for the 2nd shift in Mesa, AZ. You will operate and maintain advanced machinery, program setups, troubleshoot issues, and ensure parts meet stringent specs.

The role requires 5+ years in machine operations, strong CNC and CAD/CAM skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Onsite work with shift premium and potential overtime available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machine operations.
• Experience with punch press, press brake, sheet metal, and laser operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD/CAM files.
• Strong CNC knowledge and precision manufacturing.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• High school diploma; technical certification or associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced machinery at an expert level following SOPs.
• Set up, program, and calibrate machines for production runs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Monitor machine performance and pursue process improvements.
• Perform final quality checks on parts and assemblies.
• Train and mentor junior operators on advanced operation and troubleshooting.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machines.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve workflows.
• Maintain accurate production records and action logs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and lean manufacturing guidelines.
