Louis Industries in central Minnesota is hiring a Press Brake/Spot Weld Operator for 2nd shift. You will set up and operate equipment like press brake, shear, ironworker, saw, spot welder, and tumbler, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certified forklift operator preferred.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and hand tools.
• Knowledge of inventory control and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to use and operate measuring equipment including the linear measuring table.
• Proficient with mathematical equations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and inspection requirements.
• Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with personnel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment including Press Brake, Shear, Ironworker, Saw, Spot Welder, and Tumbler.
• Manage time to operate several machines during shift.
• Safely operate forklift to load/unload material and parts.
• Move material with overhead crane and jib crane.
• Handle steel raw materials and scrap.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and safe; follow safety regulations.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and print specifications.
• Perform light maintenance and maintain inspection records.
