Job summary

K&S Manufacturing Ixonia, Wisconsin, is seeking a Press Brake Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm-12am) to join our metal fabrication team. You will program, set up, and operate Bystronic or Accurpress press brakes, inspect parts to blueprints, and collaborate with engineering on prototyping while maintaining quality and safety in a 100% air-conditioned facility.

Minimum 1 year of press brake experience and strong problem-solving skills are required; forklift and ERP experience are a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of Press Brake experience.
Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to read customer and internal drawings and blueprints.
Capable of machine setups, tooling changes, and basic programming adjustments.
Solid working knowledge of blueprint reading and shop math.

Responsibilities

Read customer and internal drawings and blueprints.
Program, set up, and operate Bystronic or Accurpress press brakes.
Inspect parts and compare to blueprints using height stand, calipers, and micrometer.
Work with engineering on prototyping projects and ensure production within tolerances.
Complete and maintain accurate shop paperwork; perform daily 6S duties.
