Surestaff in Mundelein, IL is hiring Press Brake Operators to operate automated and semi-automated equipment, producing finished parts for a manufacturing client. The role requires reading production specs, setting up dies, and ensuring quality throughout the shift.

Shifts include 2nd shift with overtime available. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, and benefits include health, dental and vision insurance with weekly electronic pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in machine operation.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Experience reading and interpreting production specifications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
• Operate presses safely to produce quality parts and read run data to determine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ensure job is in order prior to machine set-up.
• Perform quality testing on produced products.
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Make corrections to address out-of-spec product.
• Position includes standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
