Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift 75 lbs, bend, stoop, climb, reach, sit and stand.
• Must read, write, and count.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Good vision; can be corrected with glasses.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of machines including CNCs, screws, presses and other equipment.
• Responsible for the quality of parts produced.
• Inspects parts visually and with gauges.
• Operates Data Collection system.
• Identifies and addresses nonconforming product.
• Reads blueprints for part specifications.
• Notifies set-up personnel if adjustments are needed.
• Assists in on-the-job training of new operators.
• Maintains housekeeping and safe working conditions.
• Keeps supervisor informed of issues and progress.
