Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Assembler I to perform light assembly and packaging, while maintaining accuracy, quality and efficiency on the production line.

The role involves general warehouse duties, organizing work areas, and following procedures under supervision. Candidates should be able to work independently or as part of a team, handle basic math, and adapt to rotating tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Previous production, assembly or packaging experience preferred.
• Has worked independently and as part of a team.
• Basic English skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Light assembly and packaging of product.
• General warehouse duties: stacking, moving, arranging product.
• Build assemblies to quality standards and print or work order specifications.
• Follows verbal and written procedures including when modified by a Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment including after task clean up, returning tools to designated locations and swept floor.
• Flexibility in daily tasks including rotating positions and changing work stations.
• Possibly operating minor machinery or equipment to aid in production processes.
• Adheres to safety standards including PPE, work practice controls, and OSHA guidelines.
• Is willing to learn new tasks, procedures and assemblies as needed.
• Listens, understands and follows instructions while learning new assignments.
