Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a responsible operator for the 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm). You will interpret PMIs, JSAs, and production schedules to ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality outputs.

The role requires strong batch chemistry math, experience with plant equipment, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. You will work in a controlled environment, using respirators and FR gear as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand, and follow complex work instructions with accuracy
• Strong math skills for batch chemistry and unit conversions
• Experience operating plant equipment and industrial vehicles
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs
• Able to wear and work with respirator and FR clothing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and production software systems

Responsibilities

• Interpret PMIs, JSAs, and production schedules to execute tasks safely and efficiently
• Support safety initiatives and policies as needed
• Follow detailed turnover reports and written/verbal instructions
• Perform batch chemistry calculations across units of measure
• Operate and maintain large-scale powder production equipment with safety
• Perform minor to moderate machine adjustments and maintenance
