Job summary

Alianza in Gastonia, NC is seeking dependable Powder Coat Unloaders to join a manufacturing team. The role involves unloading finished components from the paint line, performing quality checks, organizing parts, and ensuring smooth flow through finishing processes.

The position requires reliability in a fast-paced environment and teamwork to support the paint department activities. Shift is Monday–Thursday, 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM with pay starting at $17.00/hour (DOE).

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
• Experience in powder coating, painting, fabrication, or finishing environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
• Ability to follow work instructions and production requirements.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished powder-coated parts from the production line.
• Perform visual inspections to identify coating defects, damage, or quality concerns.
• Sort, stack, package, and prepare completed parts for the next stage of production.
• Verify part counts, labels, and production requirements.
• Handle components safely to prevent damage to finished products.
• Assist with maintaining a steady production flow.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Support other paint department activities as assigned.
