Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a 2nd Shift Powder Coater in Little Chute, WI. The role covers powder coating preparation, application, and finishing to meet quality and production goals. You will work with a team to ensure output, safety, and accuracy on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1–2 years of powder coating experience, and fork lift capability is a plus. Strong attention to detail and familiarity with GEMA equipment are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating to components on manual lines and batch booths.

• Clean, mask, plug, and fixture parts prior to coating.
• Guide coworkers to prep parts properly.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area orderly.
• Operate batch ovens per work orders.
• Inspect parts after coating is complete.
• Unmask, unplug and package components as needed.
• Complete all related paperwork.

Position Summary

The Powder Coater is responsible for preparing, powder coating, and finishing a variety of components in accordance with quality standards and production requirements. This role works independently and collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily output, quality, and safety objectives while supporting overall operational goals.

• Apply powder coating to components on manually operated lines as well as batch booth applications.
• Set up equipment for proper application of coating.
• Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components prior to powder coat application.
• Guide coworkers to prep parts properly.
• Maintain equipment and keep work area in order.
• Operate batch ovens according to work order specifications.
• Inspect parts after coating is complete.
• Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.
• Complete all paperwork accordingly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of powder coating experience.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Possess strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of GEMA powder coating equipment is preferred.
