Descripción del empleo

Join our team as an Industrial Spray Painter at our powder coating and play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality finished parts on time. As an Industrial Painter focused on liquid coatings, you will apply paint and finishes to manufactured parts according to customer specifications and quality standards. This is a focused painting role—you will primarily operate the liquid spray process rather than performing part preparation or masking.

You’ll work in a production environment, follow process instructions, maintain consistent coverage and finish quality, and help keep production on schedule. Ideal candidates take pride in clean, uniform finishes and are comfortable operating spray equipment independently while collaborating with the team.

  • Apply liquid paints and finishes to parts using spray equipment (spray guns, airless or conventional systems as trained) according to work orders, process instructions, and quality standards
  • Operate paint booth equipment and spray tools; mix materials, adjust viscosity or settings as needed, and perform color changes
  • Monitor paint application for coverage, consistency, thickness, and overall finish quality
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet customer and internal quality requirements
  • Identify and report quality issues, equipment problems, process concerns, or defects
  • Accurately complete required production documentation and records
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; assist with routine booth and equipment cleaning
  • Work with supervisors and teammates to meet production goals and delivery schedules
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous industrial painting, production painting, liquid spray painting, or manufacturing finishing experience preferred, but not required. Motivated candidates who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with liquid coating application techniques, spray guns, or paint mixing is a plus
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
  • Frequent reaching and standing in place while painting
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, chemicals/solvents, and industrial equipment
  • Required use of PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, respirators, and protective clothing as required
  • Must be able to pass a respirator medical evaluation and fit test
  • Ability to work safely around production equipment
Schedule
  • Full-time:
    • 1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30pm, or
    • 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
  • Initial training may take place on 1st Shift before transitioning to 2nd Shift
  • Overtime and schedule adjustments may be required based on production needs
