Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing metal fabricator in Raleigh, NC, seeking a Powder Coat Painter for a contract-hire, 2nd shift (4pm-12am, Monday-Friday).

You will prepare parts for powder coating, apply coatings with electrostatic equipment, monitor finish quality, operate curing ovens, and maintain a clean, safe work area while adhering to production and quality standards. Prior powder coating/industrial painting experience is preferred and lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Prior powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with powder coating equipment is a plus.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or in a team.

• Operate curing ovens and inspect completed parts for quality.
• Perform touch-ups or rework when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Read work orders and follow production and quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of powder coating equipment and finishing processes a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
