Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a General Production Team Member on the 2nd shift at the Tecumseh, Nebraska facility. The role involves supporting poultry processing operations, rotating across multiple areas, and meeting safety and quality standards.

Work requires standing, lifting up to 45 lbs, and working a schedule that includes overtime, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $16.15 to $20.85 per hour with a potential attendance bonus depending on position.

Responsibilities

• Hang live birds.
• Handle and process inedible materials according to food safety standards.
• Trim product to meet quality specifications.
• Rehang labor to maintain product flow.
• Sort products to FPS standards.
• Assist with whole bird processing and specialty handling.
• Rotate between positions to support production needs.
• Follow all food safety, quality, animal welfare and workplace safety policies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, tools and equipment.
