Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking personnel for a live-bird hang position on the 2nd shift in Texas. Pay is $20.45 per hour, including a $1 shift pay, with duties to humanely hang birds from the conveyor to the shackles at approximately 35 birds per minute and to maintain clean floors and track DOAs.

The role requires working in hot, humid, dusty conditions with others, rotation on the belt, and adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Live-bird handling on a belt at 35 BPM with safe, humane procedures.
• Work in hot, humid, dusty, and odorous conditions on a team floor.

Responsibilities

• Hang live birds from the conveyor onto the shackles.
• Maintain floor housekeeping and monitor DOAs on the line.
• Work the 2nd shift and rotate on the belt as directed.
