Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings is seeking a 2nd Shift Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to support facility upkeep across multiple equipment systems. The role requires hands-on maintenance, with exposure to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and construction tasks, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

You will work in a fast-paced cannabis operations environment, collaborate with a team, and help ensure reliable operations, preventive maintenance, and efficient repairs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in maintenance or similar position.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical and construction.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Capable of working independently or in teams.
• Must be 21 years of age and compliant for cannabis agent badge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
• Assist in construction, preventative, routine, and breakdown maintenance and repairs on all equipment in the facility.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Complete work orders and document activities.
• Develop knowledge of facility equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and required training.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Adopt new methods to meet goals and comply with applicable laws.
