Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is hiring a 2nd Shift Processing Technician II, Plating for our Carson, CA location. Responsible for set-up, operation, and maintenance of plating machines and processing parts to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of plating experience.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 30 pounds.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace per 5S standards.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Process parts to meet Government, Manufacturing and Environmental Specifications.
• Clean parts free of oil and grease per departmental specs.
• Ensure parts are clean prior to chemical immersion.
• Inspect plating loads for coverage and adhesion.
• Maintain plating bath chemistry and monitor pH and concentrations.
• Train other operators as required.
