Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Tar Heel, NC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead maintenance teams in installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical plant equipment across the plant, utilities, and powerhouse. You will ensure smooth operations, minimize downtime, and maximize production efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience, with strong leadership, training, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years in related field.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and training staff.
• Food manufacturing background and ammonia refrigeration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Train employees on work methods and safety procedures.
• Maintain maintenance systems, documentation, and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate with Production to schedule maintenance and address repairs.
• Develop TPM, SOPs, Safety programs, and inventory/scheduling processes.
