Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance/Laborer to keep the plant running and safe. You will service and operate heavy equipment, perform daily checks, fuel and lubricate, and assist in repairs while supporting production goals.

Must be able to work nights and weekends, read and follow instructions in English, and collaborate with a team. The role emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and work with a team.
• Experience with basic maintenance tasks and safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to plant safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain heavy equipment (loaders, skid steers, haul trucks) to keep the plant productive.
• Fuel, oil, grease and perform pre/post-shift checks and routine maintenance.
• Assist with plant repairs and housekeeping; document daily activities.
• Follow safety incident procedures and report concerns to the Plant Manager.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and cooperate with team members.
