Job summary

ATI in Cudahy is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Pipefitter to install and repair piping for plant operations. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3pm–11pm with some voluntary overtime; training on 1st shift may be required.

The role involves working from drawings, performing maintenance, and ensuring safe operation of piping systems in a heavy industrial setting. Onsite work with union guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years pipefitting experience or Journeyman status via a State Indentured Apprenticeship.
• Must be qualified to weld per ASME IX, QW 300.
• High Pressure certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs piping and equipment for steam, oil, gas, acids, air and water.
• Works from drawings/diagrams and uses measuring tools to align systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on piping systems.
• Sets up pipe cutting and threading tools and follows safety standards.
