Job summary

MCC is seeking a Picker/Packer on 2nd shift to inspect, band, and shrink-wrap finished labels, and to assemble and pack boxes for shipment. You will interact with multiple departments to meet safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards.

This entry-level role offers growth opportunities within the company and requires comfort with heights, ability to operate forklifts, and staying on your feet for the full shift. Training will support advancement to other positions.

Qualifications

• Must not be afraid of heights.
• Experience using stand up and sit-down forklift equipment.
• Able to spend full shift standing.
• The physical demands require standing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent walking is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects finished labels to ensure quality.
• Bands and shrink wraps stacks of finished labels.
• Assembles corrugated boxes or trays.
• Packs finished labels in boxes for shipment.
• Stacks boxes on pallet for shipment.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Operates a pallet jack.
• Complies with safety policies and procedures (ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP).
• Maintains daily housekeeping in the facility.
• Travels as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
