Job summary

The Integration Group is seeking a Floor Lead to support daily warehouse operations by combining hands-on work with team guidance and coordination. This full-time role ensures tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on time, while assisting leadership with training and process improvement.

You will lead on the floor, provide day-to-day direction, mentor staff, and use WMS and handheld scanners to monitor inventory and order status. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year in warehouse, distribution, or production.
  • Previous lead or informal leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety practices.
  • Experience with WMS and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all core warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on the floor in the absence of a Supervisor.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new employees, as well as ongoing coaching for current staff.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust priorities as needed to meet daily production and shipping goals.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners to track inventory and order status.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper product handling.
  • Identify and communicate operational issues, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies to leadership.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Check equipment for proper operation and report maintenance needs.
  • Assist in resolving minor employee concerns and elevate more complex issues as needed.
